Our brand new LOTUS FEET Retreat will be opened in a couple of months. Sandy from Dutchess Yoga in USA and Ananta from Nepal are founders of this heavenly abode. Nestled among acres of green trees and mountains, our safe and nature-loving environment is situated in a National Park on the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. You will wake up to a lush dense forest filled with a natural beauty. As the songs of hundreds of birds fills the air, the sun dances across this glorious sanctuary. Enjoy breath-taking views of the Himalayan mountains as the sun rises and set in full harmony. Scattered and set among acres of pure and natural nature are:

    Join us for: Yoga Teacher Training, Reiki, Meditation - Silent Retreats, Ayurvedic Massages, Detox And Cleanse, Cooking Classes, Local Adventures and Excursions includes: Temple Visits, Trekking, Hiking, River Rafting, and much much more.
    We welcome anyone and everyone to visit this blissfully sanctuary. Yoga or No Yoga our doors are open to welcome you. Stay for one day or a whole month, immersed yourself in the many daily programs available. Our yoga teachers certification is from Universe Yoga Alliance, which allows you to teach anywhere in the world. There are 5 teachers to each TT program from USA, Nepal and India.
    We offer 200, 300, 500 hours TT compiled of Authentic Yoga Philosophies, Anatomy, Asana, Pranayama, Yoga Sutras, and the Gita, Other programs are also offered alongside Teacher Training either daily or weekly. Various Meditation Techniques Fire Ceremonies, Mantra Chanting, Daily Satsangs, Guest Speakers, Music, Singing, Dancing, Journaling Ect.     6:00 - 6:45 am Morning meditation (45 mins)
    7:00 - 8:00 am Breakfast/Personal time
    10:am - 1:00 pm Yoga Teacher Training
    1:00 - 2:30 pm Lunch in Dining Hall or Outside (your choice) and personal time
    2:30 - 5:00 pm Yoga Teacher Training
    5:00 - 700 pm Personal time/showers/rest/hiking/shopping/study/ yoga/journaling/reading
    6:00 - 7:00 pm (yoga class open to the public- OPTIONAL for students on retreat)
    7:00 - 7:15 pm Artie Every Night (waving of light) giving Gratitude to God, Earth, Mountains, Trees, Water, Our "self" and sending Peace out to the Universe...
    7:15 - 8:15 pm (one or the other) Satsang/ Open Group/ Guest Speakers/Discussions/ Yoga Nidra/Music/ Kirtan/ Sharing our Story or Reflections of personal life and it's journey
    8:15 - 9:30pm Dinner in Dining Room

    Ananta is the founder of the Lotus Feet Retreat and is an outstanding meditation teacher and healer. A beautiful, kind and compassionate teacher. He is simple and believes that all humans should be treated with the highest of respect regardless. He is a native of Kathmandu, Nepal. From his very childhood he had a deep longing to find " what and why this life is" At the age of 10 he started practicing meditation and discover a journey of silence. After turning 14 he had a glimpse of blissfulness and peace.

    Sandy Sooknanan is a yoga instructor and is the founder and owner of Dutchess Yoga, formerly Kishna Yoga. She was raised in a Hindu family with very strong spiritual practices.In 1908, her grandmother Kishna Sooknanan, migrated from Gonda, India to British Guiana, now Guyana.
    There, Sandy was raised before moving to New York and working as a nutritionist. After completing her yoga teacher training in 2006, she realized that her place in this world was to teach the path of yoga.
